I fixed it. My dad is making me get new strings, a setup, some shielding, and a thorough run through this Friday at Pittsburgh Guitars. It needs it anyways.

And a new nut.. this will hurt my wallet.

My dad set my amp up for me last night in my room after a gig, here is his power run through:
power cord from amp > power strip > two prong adapter > extension cord > ANOTHER extension cord > wall outlet.

I coulda died!

The problem isn't your bass. The problem is that you're losing ground due to the two-prong adapter.

Im looking to buy 2 things if possible at the GTG.

1. a Comfort Strapp, hopefully a smaller one as I play super high.
2. another cab, either a 410 or a 212. I have an orange Avatar 210, and would like a matching one.

If not, Ill buy one new. No big deal. I would rather buy from a TBer than new.

I've got an old Brooklyn Gear strap that I'd be willing to part with cheap. I probably won't make the GTG, but I'm in town, and can arrange to meet you.

Its cool man, thanks. NicJimBass is giving me his old Comfort Strapp. Thanks anyways though!

Assuming that Pete gets the pickup on time, I'll be taking delivery of my Skjold at the GTG.

Can I touchy?

Looks like Jordasch is on top of this, but perhaps putting a link to this thread in our signatures will help draw attention to the GTG...

And then post all over the place. That's what got my attention.

I can bring a Mesa Venture 2x10 combo and a Musicman Cutlass II.

And my 9-year-old son says he can bring his 25" scale Corsair P (wee) bass, if we decide to make the trip together (i.e. if he behaves for a couple of weeks and gets interested in practicing again).

Now I have to go back to reading 3 more pages of this thread! After I add the link to my sig, that is.

I'd like to test drive that Mesa.
