Pehaps "dissent" isn't concise enough. How about " dissent accompanied by name calling (including but not limited to alteration of a posters name in quotations in an unfavorable fashion), baiting, and general disrespectful bickering."

Personally I don't mind that kind of stuff. I'm just saying that careful reading of the past posts reveals infractions that I've seen threads shut down for.

On the side, I used to frequent a message board that had a special forum just for people who wanted to REALLY throw down. Anything went on that forum and it got pretty hairy at times ( I'm talking lawsuit, stalker hairy.)
