Sorry, a CS3 user here! My pretend Ric gets fairly quiet in the middle position and was recommended a compressor to boost the low parts and even out the highs (as I don't play with much gain).

Got the cs3 on a deal along with a tu2 on gumtree (about £60). It does everything I need it to do so never look at anything else, always stays on.
