Compressors HELP!!

So I tried out a Boss CS-3 today at GC, going there at lunch on a weekday is definitely The Way - there was 1 guy squealing away on a guitar and that was it for the whole store, so I could hear my sound.

I guess it doesn't make sense for me to use a Compressor as an output level balancer between pick and fingers. I'm better off using a vol pedal or eq pedal or just the vol pots. But I really did like the sound of the compressor - nice and warm and ... well, compressed. And the sustain was really nice too.

So, it definitely has it's place on the board, eventually. I'll probably get the Aguilar TLC just because its so highly regarded here. That's a warehouse order only item, they don't keep them in the stores, so I didn't get to try it.

Keeley Compressors all there is to say
4 knob if you want to spend the money
a newer version of the 2 knob will be a little cheaper and has the same controls as the 4 knob you just have to open the back of the pedal to use the attack and the trim control
