Conception to Birth

It could happen theoretically. If you had a test tube baby you would know the exact minute of conception and then exactly 9 months induce labor. It would probably take several dozen attempts to get it down to the exact minute. Then again it may not be possible, even under a controlled situation.

32:1 then.

That's not the way standard deviations work; it's not an equal probability accross those 32 days. And your ratio is backwards. :hiding:

I seem to remember that about 5% of babies are born on their due date. I'll let you know in a few weeks if my girl is on time. :D

Yeah, first one. A surprise, but a welcome one.
Last sonogram showed nothing, probably next time. I hope it's a girl, because I haven't found any good boy names. It's due March 17th btw.

If it's a boy, name him Franz (Beckenbauer) or Oliver (Kahn), 2 of the best soccer keepers in history. Both from Germany. Or, you could go with Rudolph or Micheal (Schenker), of Scorpions fame. My mom-in-law is from Hamburg, by the way.

Thanks for the suggestions, but those are either too old-fashioned (Franz) or too common (Oliver and Michael) for my taste.
I really like Frisian names, but I haven't found one I (we) really like, yet.

Beckenbauer was a sweeper btw.

That's right, my bad. he was my younger brother's idol when he was a kid, how could I forget. I'm not familiar with the term Frisian, what does that mean ? We named our kids Joshua Thomas & Jenna Leigh. It's a great period in life, enjoy every moment, 'cause they grow up waaaaaay too fast.
