Look at the Duggars. They're from my home town in Arkansas. They have... wait is it 58 or 59 kids now. No one throws a fit about them having that many kids, because they're beyond financially stable, and they're a white, christian family. Rules on what is morally right shouldn't change because of demographics.
Now, just part that rest of point? sheesh
I'd never heard of the Duggars (nor seen this thread) until I came across this item in today's news:
Duggars Pregnancy: Michelle & Jim Bob Defend Their Decision : People.com
Child #20 is on the way. I just don't get it. I simply cannot fathom what would make someone who already has 19 kids think that it's fine to have another.
42 children?
I'm not condoning their activities, but I wonder if women hunt these guys out to attempt a payday via whatever multi millionaires pay in child support.
Also, you take a kid from a lower-class upbringing, put him through college, tell him he's the best thing ever, draft him into a professional sports league, give him millions of dollars, tell him he's the best thing ever, and then expect him not to take the money and fame and use them like he stole it? Yeah right. The same thing is happening all across this country in low class neighborhoods, but no one cares because they're poor. At least these guys have the means to make their kids' lives alright.
