Oh man... that made me laugh! I think I was about the 30th person to own that bass I even took that picture... I think I traded it to Lamarjones for the blue Roscoe 5.

I remember emailing Brian Barrett with a trade proposal on that bass and he told me he had already owned it

That sounds about right. It wasn't bad, it just had way too slim of a neck for a 5 string. Might actually be what someone out there is looking for.

I've rarely seen a bass go around as many times as that one.
I just don't get it!

Yup. I got it from bassable.

Dang, I really liked that bass. I ended up selling/trading it for a head.

If it ever pops up again, I'm picking up as fast as I can. It was a solid bass.

It'd be cool to track down basses and just see where they end up.

Maybe it's just an Elrick thing. I had the silver one, but I sold it to get a five string. Then I sold THAT one and eventually got another five string. I don't think I'm selling this one though. I think gruuv and David M. Wilson have both owned it.
