Conversation disappeared?

Is there a reason why a conversation would disappear from my inbox? User banned or deleted account? I figured I would still have the PM even if the user did leave talkbass for whatever reason...

We had a rare occurance this week of a user spamming many inboxes. I used an admin function to wipe all the user's private messages from everyone's inboxes, that he sent out (he had 0 posts, just a bunch of spam PM's). So maybe this was the case.
