How would you turn it off right after a solo or specific part? Especially with Bluetooth? To turn it off or turn it on seems like it would be a process. When I am on stage I'm moving a lot, and it would still make unintended wah sounds with regular shoe movement.

This seems like a terrible idea lol. The practicality of not needing the pedal is lost because you have to plug into your foot. Of course, who needs practicality when you have a wah pedal in your foot haha.

I just saw this today and was going to post a link, but decided to check if anyone else had made a thread about it. It's awesome, yet gimmicky and silly all at the same time.

So I do like the technology and maybe I said this here or on ILF, but here's my thoughts.

It needs to be wireless, bluetooth connective, and charge on a lithium rechargeable battery (like a cell phone). Chucks are kind of crap shoes IMO, but they seem like they'd be perfect for the purposes of bending. However, I think if they put them in a pair of Vans or something similar, I'd be very hard pressed not to purchase out of sheer geekdom.

So a few suggestions if they read this.

Add bluetooth (I mean, duh, that's a give in IMO)
Wireless obviously, should be easy enough with all the tech out there.
Add some kind of interface via app to your phone to change levels of the pedals if needed.
Add fuzz. Seriously. Wah without fuzz IMO is boring and silly. That's just me though.

I really think this is an awesome idea and implemented correctly, I bet they would sell millions of them.

Is the module removable so I can throw it in a new pair of shoes when the soles wear? Converse don't really last that long, and they notoriously squeak.

I had been thinking about getting some of those shoes. I still miss the ones I had in the 4th grade. That's going to cause a ton of foot injuries and tripping injuries though.

It would be killer if it were wireless/bluetooth with a small unit on your board. But stil, the idea is fantastic IMO. I'd get these in a minute just to have fun with.

IMO, that would be a trip.............................. literally.

I suppose the trick would be to run the cable that connects the instrument and the shoe up your leg with elastic bands.

This doesn't strike me as something that was meant to be practical at all. Just cool.

I just think it's bad because of how the sensor works. That's not a wah motion with your foot at all. That's an "I need to pee" foot motion.
