Converting a Ampeg 1540 into an 810

I've bought two 810 for $300 and a 215 for $200. People don't want to lug them around.

Wish I could find deals like that! Around here, used 810's & 215's usually go for no less than $700, and guys are snatching them up as soon as they come available. Local trend for the last couple years has been that the "combo guys" are moving to fridges and stacks, and no one is using Micro gear.

Its unlikely very very unlikely that the 10's in an 8x10 ampeg actually cost 100 a piece if they did ampeg wouldnt make much if any profit. Its likely I can find the 10's for 50 maybe even less a piece or so.I'd say the whole project would cost a good 400 bucks.
restoring it to the config it is is fine but I wouldnt keep it maybe trade it to someone for an 8x8 or 8x10
