that's just wierd
When I moved to Greene County, NY in 1989, the county seat (Catskill) had a bridge with a giant homage to iron Mike, a side of a building proclaiming the town to be “The Home Of...”, DiStefanos barbershop adorned with a billion photos of him, and you could spot Kevin Rooney walking his dog up West Bridge St. any day of the week. Anyone over 40 remembers him from school, my dear friends sister was close friends with him (confirmed by the pic my friend kept in his bedroom of him sitting with MT in what I assume was probably his first Rolls Royce), and the damn Nintendo game mentions our county seat on MT’s fight card...
That pic isn’t weird at all.
I think it's safe to say that Ali and Stevie went on to do quite well for themselves.
I didn't know they used a rhythm guitarist on "L.A. Woman". His name is Marc Benno.
Those are from his book, "Queen in 3-D". If you're a fan of the band (or even a photography buff), check it out. There are some great pictures, some of which had never been printed before.
Seems like no one is paying attention.
Interesting observation. They seem very distracted. Maybe not what the audience was expecting?
