Wanted to see if anyone was paying attention.
That's a pretty amazing vertical leap right there. Could've been a high jumper if not a musician.

I agree with FF that whichever one happens to be the real, un-manipulated picture, it's cool either way!
I've seen this picture before, and I've always wondered if:
a) This is an optical illusion,
b) A rush of adrenaline suddenly hit him, or
c) Mr. Townshend simply had some serious hops! This is not your typical stage leap!
But then I saw this version of the pic:
Whichever one happens to be the real, un-manipulated picture, it's cool either way!
I should go back and watch the Kids Are Alright. I'm sure that would confirm. That first pic of Pete jumping seems like he has super powers. Especially with that boat anchor hanging around his neck.

Yes its Grace Slick and actually I was trying to find a photo of Jefferson Airplane at the first ever tower-rooftop live but you know the only photos found are those of the Beatles few months later in London. I think its few that know that
Jefferson Airplane did the original thing. This is a great example of how management-marketing-record labels actually write their own history.
