I'm with you there. My type (after some trial and error) is brunette, petite and with a 'heart-shaped' face, nevermind incredible talent.

999 was my very first concert.... at Canterbury art school 1978 or 79

It's a shame they never got credit for being a good rock band back in the early- and mid-70s, only for being an all-female band. But it seems like I've seen more about them online recently so maybe they're finally getting some of that recognition now? Hope so, good for them.
They were all good, but I think it was Nickey Barclay's keyboards and vocals that stood out. She was fantastic!
