At first i thought he resembles that dude from Chico & the Man ... Freddie Prinze Sr, but upon looking for evidence, i feel much less strongly about that. There's not one photo of Prinze out there where he parts his hair in the center ... always to the side >

BTW, I’m not disparaging either but I don’t think of R&R when I think about either of them.
Please, define rock n roll?
Is prog rock n roll? Is metal rock n roll? How are you slicing the pie here? Should funk artists or Alternate rock be removed?
Most likely PP&M would fall under folk or pop music, but there are just as many other photos of artists that could fall under a number of different genres like metal, prog, country, alternative, pop, Motown, blues, heavy rock, classic rock, new wave, singer/song writer, soul, r&b, funk, reggae or punk.
Peter, Paul & Mary deserve to be up here as much as any one, because at the heart of rock & roll is rebellion. PP&M were rebelling the status quo of the day which was racist. They are as R&R as anyone else here.
Dylan was a folk singer too, but no one would say he wasn’t R&R.
