I took a somewhat similar (B & W) photo at a 1978 Central Park Patti Smith concert. Patti is hunched over at the edge of the stage, foot on the monitor, and mic to her mouth. A guy in front of her has his arm in the same position as this guy, and the back of his tee shirt says, "To hell with dialogue, let's wreck something!"

I have always wanted to print it really big and send it to Patti.

Nina Simone is being inducted into the R&R HOF. If she’s R&R, then so are Peter, Paul & Mary.

BTW, I’m not disparaging either but I don’t think of R&R when I think about either of them.

Still a very cool photo that jogs the imagination.
