That pic is at the outside stage of my local roadhouse joint, Pappy and Harriet’s, where annually, for years, Lowery and company have held a Camper/Cracker festival weekend(another one coming up soon). The venue is situated by an old western town movie set that was built by Roy Rogers and one of his stuntmen…

I've seen a ton of concerts in the '70s and through the years; but Humble Pie might have been my very favorite. Amazingly awesome...

I got to see Humble Pie (post Peter Frampton) in concert in the 70s and the last minute replacement opening act was Gentle Giant who I never heard of before that night. Wow! What a concert! I was already a Humble Pie fan but became an instant Gentle Giant fan and remain one until today.

I don’t want to completely derail the thread but can i ask, what was she like?

She was a nice lady in our limited interactions. Maybe a little grumpy at times, but I'd probably feel the same if I was part of a hugely influential band yet apparently working at Wal-Mart 20 years later to make ends meet. Her solo songs were alright. My buddy on guitar and I were recruited because we were in the same town as the drummer in her band and halfway between Moe in small-town Georgia and her rhythm guitarist and manager in South Florida. We suspected those latter two people (a couple) were taking advantage of her to some extent. She sent a nice Christmas card later that year, wish I'd kept it.
