I was looking for a fairly wide leather strap at GC. I am cheap. REALLY cheap. I didn't want to spend much, let's just say that. I saw a strap that was wide enough, and cheap enough, but I thought the design was trying so hard to be cool that it wasn't cool. And then I got to thinking, "by wearing something that 'not cool,' I have come out and shown my utter coolness, by being cool enough for something not cool." And then I realized I was thinking as if I were fifteen years old, and just bought the damn strap.

Ready?

For no good reason, I just love that strap.

Norcal, would like to see ya spin that bass with that strap, lol, and keep yer pants on, how long does it take to remove, and put on, now understand i might actually be giving you a call at some point for one but today, it looks positively medevial, sort of nasty if ya see where im heading.

Thats a cool strap right there brother!!!

I've really been wanting a fancy strap lately. Almost all of mine are simple Levy's which have served me well.

My most well-loved strap is a simple Comfort Strap that was given to me by Adrian Garcia. When I was all messed up from my cancer surgery and radiation treatment he sent it to me as a gift so that I could keep playing while recovering.

Adrian was such a great human being, I miss him.

It's "just" a mass-produced Levy. I saw it in GC one day and my dearly departed brother used these almost extensively so I got it. My Ernie Ball strap was plain boring black and kept feeling like it was about to fall off. This one is NOT budging! Both by it's own choice, and mine :)

If worthy, I'd like a number please.

Here is one of them, in use by my dearly departed brother "Stench", with his self-made 3/4 scale flying V. Still rockin' regardless of chemotherapy in progress. i love you and miss you. ;( Aug 1963-July 2008. Rock on at the great gig in the sky!
