+1 on the pickguard, not my cup of tea, but I am intrigued by that Thundertron pickup. Super cool!

Thundertrons are in fact sweet sounding, very rich mids, nice balalnce.

I dunno- I didn't like the gold 'guard at first, but it GROWS on ME!!

For a guy that hated P's and refused to play them for over 20 years, looks like I am trying to make up for lost time.

Here's my latest and 1st '51. Custom Grove. I am head over heels with this thing. May not be the coolest, but easily the coolest that I have ever owned.

Absolutely. It's one of Warmoth's high enders.

5 piece quartersawn maple, dual graphite rods, and black MOP dots. Listed as a lefty neck. We got really lucky and caught it on one of Warmoth's Screamin Deals. I think that it was regularly priced at 750+. Fire sale on Screamin Deals at 335 I think. I can pull the invoice.

Asked them to install the nut for a rightie and Ta Da !
