Yep... It's a KSM foundation and I love them. They are made out of aircraft grade aluminum that adds a bit of sustain and they are really sturdy.

So happy to see that P-bass found a good home. It is a sweet little bass!
I built that for a dealer event the Custom Shop had a couple years back.
The color was based off of a Japanese cherry blossom tree.

Thanks Echovox! So I decided to go with a CS P and stopped by my local dealer to work out the specs. After about a half hour, he said, "You know, I saw something very similar to what you are looking for on the web." He pulled up the site and there it was. Had to have it and thanked the guy for remembering who had it. Awesome bass man, definitely a once in a lifetime opportunity!

So for those of you who have been wondering about the Aluamtone pickup. It is very hard to describe. It does nail the P bass tone but can also have an earthy or almost acoustic hint to it. The greasebucket may haelp, not sure. It was the only thing about this bass that I wasn't sure of and ends up sounding much better than I ever expected.
