CopilotFX Cubic!!!

I managed to get this one done while holding little Parker in a baby sling and holding the bass at my side. Not the easiest way to play some bass, but I really just want y'all to hear what it sounds like and see what you think.

This is just one setting. Blend all the way wet (it doesn't get 100% which is something that I will bring to his attention as a VERY important aspect for an octaver), and the ??? knob at about 1:00. It is a very OC-2ish sound, I think. The first part is just a little groove, and the second little snippet is just some fast wankery to show that this guy tracks super fast with a very nice feel.

I will do a full demo showcasing all the different sounds you can get with this shortly. It is very versatile for an octave pedal!

That sounds about perfect. How is the output level compared to the OC2? The OC2 seems to top out about 10% less then I want it too.

The volume knob actually has some boost in it. I get unity at about 1:00 and cranked full will clip my interface at normal gain levels. I know he will be tweaking the volume/blend balance a little but I will let him know a little boost isn't terrible, especially with an octaver.

Diggin a little deeper...

It gets loud, seriously...

1. Clean tone P Bass Dlx with dead strings all highs rolled off, and volume slighlty dimmed.
2. Clean Octave: filter and ??? knob ccw
3. filter-12:30, ??? ccw
4. filter-12:30, ???-12:30
5. filter-3:00, ???-12:30 (loud!)
6. filter-12:30, ???-3:00 (louder!)
7. filter-12:30, ???-dimed (louder still?)
8. filter-3:00, ???-dimed (still pretty loud)
9. everything dimed with xerograph deluxe low pass filter.

Rubic's Cubic (prototype)

All of these clips are with the switch in the down position except the last. The volume and blend are both all the way up throughout. This is a prototype, so there is some tweaking to do with the balance of volume/blend. When I get the revised version, I will demonstrate the ability to blend in any amount of octave with the clean signal, increasing the versatility even more. Let me know what you think!!!

I am very impressed...
