could someone please.........?

could someone please post a wiring diagram for my jazz bass of how to hookup a pushpull volume for the neck pickup to set it series or parallel and pushpull volume for the bride to it series or parallel.

heres how i want it:

neck pup's volume(push pull pot set up for series/parallel)--> bridge pup's volume(push pull pot set up for series/parallel)--> master tone.

thanks in advance,

-Rory

ps: is this even possible?

I'm not sure what you want to do. The pickups are single coils. So they can only be put in series or parallel with each other. So there'd only be 1 series/parallel switch for the whole bass. You can't have separate series/parallel switches for single coils.

No, to do what you wanted you'd have to have a different bass. You need humbuckers in both the neck and bridge position to do what you are describing. If you have a traditional jazz bass, you have single coil pickups in each position.

What Trooper is saying is that you could install one push/pull pot that would switch the whole bass between series/parallel.

There are stacked humbuckers out there that would fit in the space of a single coil (if you route the whole a little deeper) that might allow you to do this.

What is it you are trying to acheive as far as your sound? Why do you want this configuration? Knowing this might make it easier to advise you.
