I'm thinking what he may be trying to say is that the stereotypical sexually aggressive dominant "alpha-male" is vilified by feminists, while at the same time females are programmed by nature to seek out exactly that type of male. "Nice guys finish last" and all that.

On the other hand, I haven't really followed the debate that closely, so I could be way off. :D

Bitter melon is definitely an acquired taste. I've never had durian but I hear it tastes and smells like butt! BTW, there are FAR more disguting things in Filipino cuisine. Look up balut! :atoz:

It was Durian... Just looking at it makes me wanna ralf.

I remember it like it was yesterday. We went camping with a bunch of my fathers co workers and the Philipino lady brought that stuff. My now boss tried it then ran off behind a tree to puke, then I decided to give it a whack. The guy after me actually kept it down and went for a second bite... Nobody else out of the group of 20, except the Philipino lady, had any haha.

I'm a flip. Balut is actually not as bad as Bitter melon. It pretty much taste like a hard boiled egg, chicken soup, with a piece of chicken in it. That's why when shows like fear factor have it, contestants are like meh, and eat it. It's just what it is what most people can't get over.

By the way Vietnamese egg rolls are more superior than lumpia!

I wouldn't have believed this except that I got a bit of a glimpse into how bad it can be for women when I was out walking with my now wife and by brother's wife. A least two cars started following us with the guys inside yelling out all manner of nastiness to the gals.

I don't know what to say, or do, about it. Just very sad that so many guys can't control themselves. It's just a complete lack of respect for your fellow human.:(

Pinoy din ako but I was born here so balut still freaks me out. Ampalaya is delicious in pinakbet!

I am going to go with that... I personally don't know anyone who has done that. I mean yeah, you fool around when girl is fooling around with you, but to force it on someone. I believe you should be shot for something like that.

There is no denying that there are men (and women) like that, but not all, and they tend to stick together. Look for a better crowd to hang out with, if people who are around you think rape, or even "just going for your pants with out saying hi" is ok...

Hell, even if its just one guy who likes to force himself on others, and no one in the group says or does anything. i would not hang out with any of them and that dude would probably have hard time chewing for next few weeks.
