He has a 4.7 out of 5 rating. Not too bad. Accordion Accessory? That is strange. Why don't you send him a message for clarification. I'd be interested in what he has to say.

Imagine my surprise when I bought a Rick Turner Renaissance 5-string back around 1998. I didn't know it came with TI ABG strings. I wasn't even aware that TI was making those kinds of strings. I went to order a backup set and my eyes fell out. They seemed to be going for about as much as a set of Spirocore Reds at the time. They definitely didn't have the life span I expected out of such an expensive string.

I absolutely love the Jazz Flats though, and will happily pay the price because they last so long. I have them on my Jazz and Precision and they're fully part of my sound now.

These are legit. I ordered both long and short scale sets over the past month or so, and have done so over the past few years.:thumbsup:

The Acousticore strings were developed with Rick Turner specifically for the Renaissance instruments. They are expensive because they don't make that many and demand is relatively low, and they don't last forever because they are literally a nylon core string. But they sound FANTASTIC on the right instrument! I had a Rick Turner Electroline fretless 5 w/piezo and the Acousticore strings were really special on that bass. Due to cost, I ended up switching to TI Jazz flats (which last forever), and they were really good, too, but the Acousticore strings were extra special.

Those are legit. I’ve bought them three times from Amazon — last time from same seller MUSEZ in July ‘22 for $73.50. You’ve got a good deal there. They are the JF 344’s, and I’ve seen that “Accordion Accessory” label too — not sure what they mean by that — but these are the strings you want.

No worries on this one. I was skeptical too but figured Amazon is a safe return if not satisfied.
I just went through the same internal deliberation and they arrived Friday and went on my Spector Saturday. They’re legit.
