Cover Bands - What Do You Open With?

It depends a lot on the audience and when we start. However, it should be uptempo, fun, and give a hint about what you're about to perform the whole evening. Here's a few:

I wanna hold your hand - The Beatles
Superstition - Stevie Wonder
I shot the sheriff - Bob Marley
Gimme all your lovin' - ZZ Top
Mustang Sally - Wilson Pickett

The time I did longer gigs like four sets or so with old people in the audience, it was always more or less a requirement to start with a waltz... I like today's gigs much more when we make clear what we play and don't play and have much more of an own sound.
It's not prostitution anymore, but the gigs are way fewer than before too....
