I live in Ohio. Tribute bands around here are serious business and pull minimum at least three times the fee that a regular established cover band gets, and usually much much more. Now if these jokers had an “agent” and a contract that was that poopy, my best guess is they were awful at best, true amateurs, and stunk up the place as if they were only prepared to play a corner bar in a small town. Showed up without any production, Motley Crue-like stage show whatsoever. There’s an AC/DC tribute around here that has a giant AC/DC bell prop and legitimate looking backline. This Crue band reads like it is amateurish and way over its head as far as big events and what is expected from a true “tribute” act.
