Low Action.
When you loosen the tuners all the way you will get very low action.

Crap + Crap + Crap = one large pile of crap.Riiight? Like I’d need more crap laying around
"Plays like Butter"
...buttah!
Crap + Crap + Crap = three piles of CrapWhenever there's an ad for something like an entry level Ibanez or a Squire or an Epiphone or something and the title has words like "vintage" or "rare" or "limited edition" and then the price is at least a couple hundred over new. Or my favorite is the ads where someone will have like 2-3 low price basses (like what I mentioned above) and want to trade all of them for something like a Rickenbacker or a USA Fender or something. I always want to write to those people and tell them no one will ever trade a higher end bass for 2-3 entry level basses.
Doesn't that signature actually decrease its value? I'm just not a fan. There is a Squier Strat for $775 on the Sacramento Craigslist. It's signed by the Goo Goo Dolls.
I would be more interested if they claimed it was used in self defense to defend against a home invader.“Just got this guitar out of the box, I didn't like it, never gigged or brought outside of the house”.
So not even worthy of taking it out of the house to put it in the trash can?

Buckle rash, Broken-Off headstock repair, “PMG” pickups, deep scratches all over the back of the body. Price:750 USD
Did it go through WWII? Was my first thought
That's the best. Also saw one recently..."Do not apply if you are in another band. We need someone who is fully committed."[/QUOTE said:. "I've been legally committed and I have many documents to prove it. I should be a good fit for this band." What do you say?
. I'm looking at it right now and I'm trying to figure what the *** it is.“If you’re looking at this you know what it is...”
How much for just the pick?“Missing a couple of strings, one pickup doesn’t work, and the neck needs adjustment. otherwise in perfect condition. Comes with a pick, strap, and instruction book.”
I see a lot of used items listed as: "Like-new condition" asking full new price...(facepalm).
Also the classic: "... has chips in paint, see pictures, but only cosmetic nothing that affects playability."
And the ever-present amp listed as: "functions like new", has scratchy pots with torn tolex or grill cloth.
Humans like that is why shampoo comes with instructions on the back.
- Rinse, lather, repeat until bottle is empty
Or maybe just lower your ridiculous price down from $80k. Like way way down.By God, you just can't make this stuff up. I mean, I'd give up after a year...

Waiting for inflation or vintage appreciation....I've posted this one before, not an ad for a bass, but for a bunch of obsolete sound and lighting gear. Guy has been posting this exact same ad for over 10 years, and the list of equipment has never changed (nor have the prices he's asking).

Rare = nobody liked them when they were new.The worst is people justifying their higher asking price due to cosmetic changes or stating it is "rare". Rare does not always equal valuable. In fact it's probably rare because the manufacturer couldn't sell enough of them.
I hate that expression. How does butter "play"?"Plays like Butter"
Messy, greasy and rancid!I hate that expression. How does butter "play"?
I guess soft lol. Everyone seems to use that phrase.I hate that expression. How does butter "play"?
Saw one of these on my local CL recently. Bassist needed for awesome new "artist", original material only, must be fully committed and in no other bands, ready to play gigs and go on tour which will happen next month. No links to info about the "artist", only picture is of a drum set in a rehearsal studio. That's the best. Also saw one recently..."Do not apply if you are in another band. We need someone who is fully committed."
See, that's the thing. It spent half a decade safely in its case in the back of an air-raid shelter that even the locals forgot was there. But going through that time-warp... man, those things are rough enough on the way out, let alone the return-trip.And WWII was from 2018 until......??????![]()
Not so much an *** as it is a complaint.
But please, PLEASE, stop with the fresh restringing and set up. You're wasting money. I have strings, lemon oil, hex keys, a screw driver and gauge waiting for when that bass arrives. The very first thing I'm going to do (ok, second after I make sure it works) is throw those NXLs in the trash and set it up how I like.
Not CL, but... You made Me look. Geeze, thanks...
