I'm so glad I have stuff from Effector 13 (Truly Beautiful Disaster) and Death By Audio (Interstellar Bass Overdriver) on my board. And now in the mail is some ZVEX (Lo-Fi Loop Junkie). God I love noise.

However the Effector 13 Synth Mangler is probably one of the most utter sonic chaos effect you can get.

I'd have to say the craziest effect is a $3,000 compressor used on a bass rig that makes no discernable difference in tone from a $100 stompbox.

Yep, that is crazy. I haven't hit the $3K mark for a single piece yet, but I will say the sonic "returns" diminish sharply over the $200 mark.


Regarding the Seek Wah, be advised it needs a clean-blender in order to work with bass... that is, if you want to hear any bass frequencies.

Oh no I meant Interstellar Bass Overdriver.
Custom made my friend. Go to their custom page, it's one of the first few custom pedals listed. I don't know if there are any more out there but I know mine has the serial number of 1.

If you check DBA's website, you'll notice a huge percentage of his pedals are customized variations, not the four or five "stock" designs featured in shops.

If he is still willing to make one how long to you figure it would take him to make one? I really like the idea of having an overdrive and a fuzz in the same pedal with a little added wierdness.

I don't know how long it would take, but he told me another Interstellar Bass Overdriver would be around $350. Which is pretty much a OD/Fuzz/Dirty Boost depending on how you have what turned on.
