A backwards 2 string bass, now this is creative! It belongs to Stig Pedersen from Danish rock band D-A-D. Stig designs his own basses with only 2 or 3 strings because he only ever used the E and the A strings anyway.

2 strings and he still has to look at his neck?

The rocket "hull" is open from the back. Stig really doesn't need to look his fretboard as deeptubes commented.. Arnis Lefthand Basses (Informations for lefty bass players) Here's some (very small) pics of it and few other Stig-basses. That Olive-bass is awesome, he used 4-5ft high martini glass as a stand for it onstage..
