Cruise ship gig woes

I've used tube Ampegs, old and busted Hartkes & Peaveys, GKs and Eden...all over the map. I even used an AudioSource vocal monitor at one time.

Now that I think twice about it, perhaps it wasn't dirty power during your situation. Mysterious. Hope it didn't mess up your rig permanently.

I hope not. I have other amps but I'll know Thursday at a rehearsal for a sub gig. The amp kept going in and out of protect mode which makes me think the power kept going below the required min. for the amp.

I played a 'booze cruise' on Lake Champlain once (circa late 90's). The generator power on that vessel was a bit dodgy. None of the amplifiers seemed to mind, but our keyboard player's synth dropped out several times
