Here are some shots of my Dingwall Z3. It is finally taking shape! Man, that walnut top is going to kill when it is finished!

Congrats, that's a very unique design and great wood choices. Do the strings actually retain at the back on the "head" end and then go through? Hard to tell from the pics, I'd love to see a closer image of the bridge and "head" end of the neck.

Thanks for the compliment. The strings do indeed retain at the back of the headstock and pass through. His system allows you to use any string brabd you wish.

I tried to show more detail on these two pictures.

Thanks man, that's a very cool and ingenious design element. I dig headless basses (I own a Status Kingbass currently and used to have a Status Series 2000 and a short stint with a Steinberger). Hadn't seen one done like that before. I might have to look a little more into Fernandez basses when I start thinking about my next custom.
Hope you have many years of enjoyment with that beauty!

Thanks younggun. If you want to see more of Daniel's work go to the Low End website and look under the sold inventory. Brian is the lone distributor of his work here in the U.S. and has sold several pieces and there are pictures of all. Peace.

As of recently, I am waiting on a Sadowsky Ultra-Vintage P5: alder body, Brazilian rosewood board, candy apple red with mint guard, vintage tint on neck, 20 frets.

Oh, I almost forgot: I'm still waiting on the D.Huff bass I ordered back in April 2003... paid in full already. :hmm: I have absolutely no idea if or when I'm gonna get it. According to his forum, he's building basses again. Some folks have been waiting longer than I, so I assume they're ahead of me in the queue.

Hey guys heres mine body getting cut this week we started way back in November finally moving ahead some but ive slowed things up wanna make sure we get everything right. in fact body will have some modifications that arent seen in this pic and i have 3 sets of pups enroute wanna try them all before we go one to finish it

Always great stuff here!
The Dingwall; the D Fernandez; the ACG; really, really nice.

Westone Genesis: What are the specs!? That f-board is nuts! pale moon ebony?
Younggun: Great to see your beautiful Lecompte getting finished!

(Shameless segue) Speaking of waiting for a Lecompte - -

Bud began working on a “special project” 7 for me in the beginning of the year.
Kind of a Pedulla MVP meets Lecompte P4T:

(The Color & final P/G shape are yet to be determined)

Alder, Maple, Rosewood. Hipshot hardware, Nordstrand PUs, Audere pre.
According to the time estimate, my wait should be about half over.

Here’s recent progress

Well, I have some bad news and some good news regarding my 4-string Tom Clement fretless. The bad news is that there will be a slight delay in getting my electronics configured just the way I want them, so I will have to wait a bit longer to get this bass in my hands. :(

The good news is that the bass is basically together, and Tom sent me new pics! :hyper:
