Congrats, that's a very unique design and great wood choices. Do the strings actually retain at the back on the "head" end and then go through? Hard to tell from the pics, I'd love to see a closer image of the bridge and "head" end of the neck.
Thanks man, that's a very cool and ingenious design element. I dig headless basses (I own a Status Kingbass currently and used to have a Status Series 2000 and a short stint with a Steinberger). Hadn't seen one done like that before. I might have to look a little more into Fernandez basses when I start thinking about my next custom.

I have absolutely no idea if or when I'm gonna get it. According to his forum, he's building basses again. Some folks have been waiting longer than I, so I assume they're ahead of me in the queue.
