Well, I just placed an order for two 32" 4 string basses with Carl Thompson, so looks like I'm in on this whole waiting list thing. Although I'm not sure Carl's are 'custom' in the same sense as most of these... Kind of just send him the money, answer two questions and wait a long time. Should be cool.

I took those pix yesterday during the afternoon! The bass is here and I'm officially out of the CBWSG!

34 inch 6 string bass with 19mm string spacing. Koa top on a Mahogany body, Gaboon Ebony FB, 24 frets, 2 Benavente p/ups w/ a Benavente pre. 5 piece Wenge/Maple neck.

I'm adding my name to the list. Just put in for a DP Custom Single Cut. Red Oak body with Cocobolo Top/back. BE Maple Fretboard over Flame Maple/Purpleheart neck. Nordstrand DC Pickups and Agular Pre. Should be about 5 months...... *sigh*
