My custom Stambaugh is officially completed!!! It shipped out today to Dan Lenard from luthiersaccessgroup, who will be photographing it and checking it out to post to his website. Then he'll ship it to me and it's all mine! Here are the 2 pics I got from Chris today :D

Love that Stambaugh !!

Thanks to Talkbass spies (ie other forum members who have been to the shop and generously asked about my bass for me !!) it seems that progress is rapidly being made on my Sei 7.

The fingerboard is cut, front and rear facings are on. Hopefully, I'll have some photos from the guys soon.

I'm driving the 400 miles down to London in a couple of weeks time for a family celebration, so I'll be able to go to the shop and see it for myself. Can hardly wait !!

Hi guys!,
I've finally joined the support group. After much research and great indecision I've decided to go for a MTD 635, 24 fret with an exhibition grade walnut top, ash body, rosewood fingerboard, wenge neck, brass bridge, body matching pegboard & trussrod cover, top dots & MTD world inlay.
I ordered through Glenn at Austin Bass Traders who is brilliant to deal with, especially for someone like me in a country that doesn't have any shops importing MTD's. I'm pretty confident I'mm going to get an awesome bass.
Now it's just the 8 month wait.....due sometime in July next year...
