I just want to be the only person with a clear mustang bass
I'm not aware of anyone that does that. Maybe get a Mustang template and make a mold of that and use clear epoxy resin?

If you already have a standard, opaque Mustang bass, you could just get a can of clear paint and go to town.

Ampeg made a line of clear lucite guitars and basses back in early 70's, or late 60's, Dan Armstrongs, I played both the guitar and bass versions and they did not sound great, but they were very fast. Lacked tone. Curved Air, the British prog band from early 70's, played them. Heavy too.
Was just at Lowe's and I didn't see any....but I did find my yellow & black stripe paint for curbs / parking lots. True story: all the labels read "shake until you hear the agitator ball"....most manufacturers don't add an agitator ball to pigment-less sprays.
Lucite bodies: be careful when playing outside. They'll focus the sun's rays like a magnifying glass and set your **** on fire.

Scalemodelguitars makes lucite mustang bodies. Robotgraves also has the ability, though I'm not sure either one would do it outside of a full build.
Never remove the p(r)ick guard! Even if it's tort.
Bill Wyman used a Dan Armstrong lucite Ampeg bass for quite a while.
Jesse Keeler of Death From Above uses them too - sounds awesome, but I'd say beyond having 24 frets, any particular bass he's using is the least critical component of his sound.
Whoever played bass in Steppenwolf, spring of 192 in Minneapolis used a clear San Armstrong. If memory serves their was a double cab SBT for him also.
I painted my bass with camouflage paint, now I can’t find the damn thing.

A buddy had a Dan Armstrong bass back in the seventies. It was way too heavy for my preferences; a real boat anchor!
You can find clear instruments on ebay but they're complete...so you'd be paying for parts you don't actually want...and not custom either. I did a quick search but I didn't see a mustang (body or complete) - Lucite Bass in Musical Instruments & Gear for sale | eBay
