Double Bass Custom/Mixed string sets- what works?

Spirocore Weichs G,D,A and Spirocore Mittel for the E. A lot of people I've known to use this combo at some point: Gary Peacock, Marco Panascia, Chuck Bergeron (Mittel A though).
I've been pretty satisfied lately with Spiro E, Anima A D, and Oliv G or Golden Spiral G when not bowing. I've been able to use the setup with the Oliv for jazz/blues/classical. The arco sound is a bit of an early music sound, and the pizz sound is old school with the Golden Spiral.
