I've always liked this pic. My fingers feel all the different possibilities ...:bassist:

so ... next gig with the VAs promises to be epic, probably over 3 hours and maybe 4. I've experienced some hand cramping at long gigs and have attributed it to the fact I play both BG and DB at VA gigs. But after studying the hand-cramping threads on TB, I think it may be the narrow neck of the Fender J. So, much as that bass is completely my girlfriend, I think I am going to forego her for this upcoming gig. For BG, I'll split up the sets between the 'Ray HH 5 and (wait for it) the '51 P reissue ... but I've modified this baby and she's good to go. Of course, Big Mama is the DB in question. So, here are the basses to be played:

working on CD sleeve graphics, your comments the other night were very helpful!

Awesome!!! Can't wait to see the gig footage....and the CD sleeve.

So I take some time to play up a sweaty mess and I miss out on all the great bass pic postings and the Dangerous Duo are ready to have Drummer in the pokey!

What kind of ABG is that you've got in your lovely foldout shoot Tat?

I've got a Tacoma Thunderchief that has had a few jihads, but I've kept it going. Now I call it Frakenstock.

This is where too many hours are spent in the frivolous pursuit of happy bass playing:

Very happy bass playing:

I'm down to three electrics but the Zon is leaving once my Fodera arrives:hyper:

This is my happy corner:

Lastly, my Trifecta of Bass Bliss these days:

Of course when my TJ6 arrives from Joe I'll most likely case everything for a year to get some quality time in with my sixer.
