Get to a Doctor man! We hit a deer in our minivan a few years ago and I saw the damage caused to the van. Can't imagine what happened to you (besides what you described).
Our deer didn't fare so well though. Drivers front corner clipped his hind quarter as he almost got across before us. Wiped him out and he landed in the opposite oncoming lane where a PT cruiser going the other way finished him off. Took out the rad on the PT and who knows what else on the underside.
Moral of the story, a deer can do a lot of damage! See a doctor!

My two favorite "hit a deer" stories are when a buck actually ran into the side of my brother's car...like actually rammed the side of his car as he was driving along...and we were driving by a guy that had just hit a deer...must have been at a pretty high speed because a lot of it went through his windshield...and he was standing outside of his car bent over and shaking deer guts out of his shirt...ewww....

my wife hit a deer in her mercedes. It totaled the car. A couple months later, she came home late, in my pickup, and hit another one.
I was asleep when she got home. The next morning, she told me about it. She said she thought she had just clipped a leg, as it passed in front of her. When I looked at my truck, the front license plate was mangled. There was hair on the right side front tow hook, and blood and hair on the underside of the chassis... I told her that she just might have done a little more than clip it

A co-worker hit two deer on the same road in the same weekend.
The first one broke a headlight and wrinkled a fender.
The second one totaled the vehicle. (A six month old GMC Yukon XL!)
A deer can do catastrophic damage to one of the largest passenger vehicles on the road.
We care.

I was on my harley. I tried to break, but it had rained earlier, and the roads were still wet. I was doing about 45 mph, with the rear tire locked and sliding ( fronts are dual anti-lock)
gonna have to replace the helmet whether I wanted to or not... I thought it was just a small surface crack. When I sanded ot for paint, it was a lot worse than I had imagined
bike is painted sapphire candy pearl, and chameleon (color changing paint), with prismatic flakes in the clear... any helmet would have to be painted to match
this is what the bike looked like before the deer...it is not so pretty, now

Gotta agree with everyone else, Lee. First , nice bike. But, more importantly, get yourself checked out.
I am wiped out. I had a great day though. The only incident that I had was when I was getting my gear on. I started to pull the zipper on my right boot and felt it give way. Crap. Repairing the zipper was out of the question..the teeth were mangled. My choices were to either rent a pair of boots from the hosting organization...or do this

I had my gopro on my bike for the last 3-4 sessions of the day. I have to review and edit the footage..then I will post for all to see

Duct tape and WD-40 solve at least 75% of the fix-it problems that you confront in life. Just be careful ... you need those fingers and at least a few other body parts to keep playing bass.

For the rest you only need a hammer.
There are much better tapes out there than duct tape for any job.

I used to know a guy who had a gold harley, and he would completely cover the tank and fenders with black gaffer's tape before going out drinking, on the weekends...
Are you trying to tell us that Goal #2 is to <3 us all three in the same zip code at once?

Duct tape or blue painter's tape were the only two mediums available at the time, so I went with the obvious choice.
C3, the self-preservation instinct kicks in strongly whenever I am on my bike, whether I am riding home from work or at the track. My ultimate goal is to be able to go home at the end of the day with all my parts intact.
