OMG, I haven't had a bacon and peanut butter sandwich since I was a kid! Now I'm dying for one, but we don't have any bacon in the house!

The sound from those two reproducing will be epic... Pic's a little blurry, but on the Squier but is that a mudbucker in the neck position? If so, JEALOUS!!!

When I was a teen I had a friend in Seattle who gave me a t-shirt that said "you can tell when it is summer in Seattle. The rain feels warmer!"
I am up and moving (very slowly). I am waiting for the glass to dry on my helmet. I like that one, so it was better to fix a crack then throw it away, and try to find another that fits that well. The only dent in my bike is in the side of the gas tank, and I have a corresponding bruise on my right knee... I will try to get it off, and sanded today. Then I can pop it back out, and repaint the tank. I replaced the broken shifter (luckily I had spare parts)
As a long time motorcyclist.....DON'T FIX A HELMET....EVER!!!
All motorcycle helmets are designed to absorb impact....ONCE. After they have received an impact, they have done their job and should be discarded.
I would even go so far as to say that many helmets should be discarded even after they have been dropped on a hard surface.
This is not a joke.
For those of you who are motorcycle riders, here is the best article I've ever read on motorcycle helmets and safety. It's kinda long, but worth reading.

IIRC Dexter Ford was actually fired for writing this truthful article that debunks many myths, some of which are supported by various helmet manufacturers.

Lee, save the helmet, but don't wear it. Take it to a shop and get fitted for one just like it. If the color doesn't match, paint it like you are doing with this one. Your life isn't worth the $150 or so you'll "save" by fixing up a cracked helmet. I don't ride, but I lost a friend to a bike accident. He wrecked his Ninja in a drag time trial. Paralyzed from the chest down, and killed himself because he couldn't bear not riding again.
I was on my harley. I tried to break, but it had rained earlier, and the roads were still wet. I was doing about 45 mph, with the rear tire locked and sliding ( fronts are dual anti-lock)
gonna have to replace the helmet whether I wanted to or not... I thought it was just a small surface crack. When I sanded ot for paint, it was a lot worse than I had imagined
bike is painted sapphire candy pearl, and chameleon (color changing paint), with prismatic flakes in the clear... any helmet would have to be painted to match
this is what the bike looked like before the deer...it is not so pretty, now
