Today I sold an extra guitar amp on craigslist. I 've putting money aside here and there. Eventually I'd like to get an American Jazz...

For fifty bucks it would be worth owning just in case a friends child would want to take up bass. It's cheap enough to be a giveaway item.

A friend of mine posted that on my facebook wall. I read it while still at work..needless to say that my co-workers came over to find out why I was laughing so hard.

The part that killed me was this:
I grew my beard to unreasonable lengths, trimmed my fingernails with belt sander, ate nothing but lumber for 6 days straight and knocked a polar bear unconscious.

Yeah - I was thinking to myself - I should move to Washington and ask this guy on a date. He's not likely to try to convince me to be phony.
Speaking of - you guys have got to hear this....I was actually told this on a date this week....
"On our first date, you were absolutely adorable. Today I don't even know what's up your butt. You're just letting it all out. At your age, you should know that you can't just let everything show. You have to hold back and not totally be yourself until you know if they like you enough to actually date you."
Yeah. I has to ask for that to be repeated, too. I wanted to be sure that's what I heard.
The flaw in this logic, IMHO, is that by the time you get to some place where you can be yourself, the only reaction I can possibly envision is, "Wait! ***? What planet are you from? You are NOT the person I started out dating. Why did you change?"
Is this what people really think, or did I just get a winner this time?
