So....back to where we were last week when Monkey was here to visit. I found her an emoticon. She needs to ask for this pedicure guy when she comes back again.

Hi all
popping back in to see what is going on. Life threw me an unexpected curve, that monopolized my time for a while, but I think things are getting back on track
Thank you very much, FM. I am a bit buzzed at the moment.

FM, it's nice to know some things don't change![]()
I think I can speak for most everyone here when I say, we're just glad you weren't eaten by the bear.
You did miss a great pedicure story though.![]()
NBBD
(New Backup Bass Day aka:my 60th Anniversary P now has a stunt double.)
It's a Squire Vintage Modified Precision.

Thank you very much, FM. I am a bit buzzed at the moment.

I'm guessing that I've always had a thing for sunburst basses.
...

But it would be fun to enlighten him, no? Plus, he'd finally get it. Sounds like win-win to me!If I had not been driving when that comment was made, I would have caused serious bodily injury. He was dropped off about 3 minutes later. The sad thing is - I don't think he gets it, but I know now why he's single.
Remember, Tat, I blew my own cover several pages back. No need to continue referring to me as "that pedicure guy".So....back to where we were last week when Monkey was here to visit. I found her an emoticon. She needs to ask for this pedicure guy when she comes back again.

Knowing the Ps are W is the best compliment a MoCWB can get.Thank you. Sometimes it's nice to have a defender. And here at CWB, I know that I have more than one MoCWB in my corner. I am eternally grateful to you all for that. It makes me feel warm and fuzzy and happy....and it makes my.......um......nevermindThis will have to do.![]()
Yeah - I was thinking to myself - I should move to Washington and ask this guy on a date. He's not likely to try to convince me to be phony.
Speaking of - you guys have got to hear this....I was actually told this on a date this week....
"On our first date, you were absolutely adorable. Today I don't even know what's up your butt. You're just letting it all out. At your age, you should know that you can't just let everything show. You have to hold back and not totally be yourself until you know if they like you enough to actually date you."
Yeah. I has to ask for that to be repeated, too. I wanted to be sure that's what I heard.
The flaw in this logic, IMHO, is that by the time you get to some place where you can be yourself, the only reaction I can possibly envision is, "Wait! ***? What planet are you from? You are NOT the person I started out dating. Why did you change?"
Is this what people really think, or did I just get a winner this time?

Oh you got a real wiener for sure!![]()
