So..FedEx dude got lucky and didn't have to worry about me stalking him. The cab got delivered while I was out to dinner with my family. I'm quite happy with it so far. The cab by itself sounds great, and when I add my 15 to it (yeah yeah, don't mix speaker sizes and manufacturers), the bottom end fills out nicely and the 210 cabinet offers great definition and punch.
My first impressions for this cabinet:
Weight- 55 lbs supposedly. I found it to be quite manageable and can pick it up with one hand.
Handles - I can't stand the cab on end (I would prefer this if I were to just run this cabinet solo). They are made out of plastic but feel sturdy enough. I may visit replacing these soon.
Sound - The low end is decent. Midrange is excellent! I didn't play around with my EQ to see if I could fatten up the low end at all.
Cost - 165 bucks shipped to my door. Brand New. Sure, it isn't high quality. However, it sounds pretty darned good (to my ears) and fell within my budget without weighing a ton. It will serve it's purpose well as a cabinet used for practice and small gigs.

I was thinking about piecing together a 2x10/1x15 set up myself. I'm just popping into this thread after a long while, what kind of cab did you get?
Also the general consensus is that mixing a 2x10 and a 1x15 is safe, it's only when you get to the 4x10/1x15 debate that things start to get a little hostile

Dual 10" Bass Guitar Speaker Cabinet | 210 Bass Cab | 2x10 | 8 Ohms This is what I bought. A lot of people bash them because of the cabinet construction (MDF with a plywood baffle) and the chinese drivers.

My gut reaction is to say that what she is feeling is due to the stress. I sincerely hope that is all it is.

Oh okay, I've heard of Seismic Audio before. I looked into them when I was cabinet hunting. The only reason I didn't look into them more seriously is that buying a 15 and 210 for the price of a 100 watt combo amp seemed too good to be true. I let my skepticism talk me out of it but I'm happy to hear that they're worth the time! I may look into them again if I ever decide to sell of my Mesa [sold it once...bought it back a week later.]
