I'm guessing that I've always had a thing for sunburst basses.

This listed on ebay. This is like the bass that my parents bought me for a birthday in 1971 or so. Mine was identical except for having a sticker with the brand name "Telestar" instead of "Kimberly".

I'd consider buying it for nostalgia, except that the price is nuts.

If I had not been driving when that comment was made, I would have caused serious bodily injury. He was dropped off about 3 minutes later. The sad thing is - I don't think he gets it, but I know now why he's single.

Yeah - My tolerance for stupidity just gets lower and lower daily. His loss - I am spectacular.

And the "dropped off" was more like just shoving him out the door on his block as I drove past. I was really busy waving the BS flag while I ranted.
