all this talk of visits, and the only guests I get have four legs... I think I am doing something wrong...

Thanks. The gig, for the most part, went ok. It was our first gig together as a band and there were problems to be had (I expected them though).
I brought my amp head and a 210 cab but didn't use them. I used my SansAmp BDDI through the PA and was very happy with the resulting tone. The BL's PA handled the bass niiiiiiicely.
I forgot my freaking battery for my camera so I didn't get any video. Luckily the rhythm guitarist brought his camera, so I will have to wait to get some footage from him. I did, however, get audio. I failed to take wind into consideration and there is a fair amount of wind noise in the recording.

Ah...I do love a nice set of EMG's...I wish I had some extra funds...at least one of the Ibanez would be headed this way...it's pretty hard to resist the red sparkle with matching headstock.
And the Koa topped one is gorgeous...and the black flame is really cool looking too...

I'm sure...maybe next time someone tenderizes one with their car and doesn't take it home, I'll just grab myself a tarp and drag it home.
or you could use a rifle... you ruin less meat that way (IF you can hit them in the right spots)
