wow, know lots of Warren's songs but not that one. Great tune to go with the pic. When I was a kid, Studebakers were a lot more common. (So were dinosaurs, but that's another story.)

hi all - in San Francisco for 24 hours on business, 3 of which hours I could wander around by myself. Love SF, crazy hills and cable cars, much good seafood and wine. Found myself some dinner right around here:

I'm on the red-eye tomorrow night back to the east coast; with any luck I will make it to our youngest's graduation from college, but the airline gods will have to be with me. Not much bass playing this week under the circumstances, but a lot coming up next week.

That is a 1957 Golden Hawk. (Swoon.) Also of note are the Halibrand wheels on it. That is an exceptionally cool car.

someone has quite a toy there... That is a 1957 Golden Hawk... what that means is that car came with a Paxton supercharger bolted onto the 289...
I also like the period correct Halibrand wheels

Thanks a lot for the video post EasyJames. I love your special seating arrangement.

One thing you can count on, whether it was Pink Floyd or Roger Waters, is the incredible sound they put out. The Dark Side show I was at was absolutely dialed in 1/2 way through the first song. Every instrument crystal clear. It was like listening to an audiophile sound system dialed way up. Add in the spectacular show for the Wall and you must have experienced something very special.

Glad you liked it! And yea, the sound was beautiful, too bad my little iPod didn't do it justice in the recording. I especially liked the aeroplane and helicopter sound effects. I kept looking up expecting to see one.

Definitely 'With'. The Avanti, much like the Triumph Sprite, always reminded me of an emoticon. 0_0 = Avanti, = Sprite
