All this talk of the RW Wall show is driving me crazy. I want to go so bad I can taste it. The Wall & Dark Side Of The Moon albums are the albums I listen to the most.

I was a Floyd fan when they were still pretty much an underground show. I saw them in Vancouver in 1969 touring the Umma Gumma album & again in 1970 touring Atom Heart Mother. Both concerts were in a little 2000 seat arena and had the first live quadraphonic sound system. To this day those shows still rank as 2 of the best shows I've ever seen.

Enjoy & I'm looking forward to your reviews and (hopefully) some video.

The trawler was pukeworthy.

I got up at 8AM Sat, plane left at midnight, arr Amsterdam 11:45 AM. Slept on a bench for 4 hrs. Plane to Boston for another 6, then a time difference of 6, 2 more home. I never, ever plan to make a trip that long again. I am still ******* beat. Got some decent pics, I'll get some up when I get them off the camera.

Spent some time with the guys at Marshall Music in downtown Capetown.. Got some pics in the bass section. I got one of those off. Those 2 guys, Matthew on the left and Zack on the right were both low end brothers. Very cool people.

More later. I have to muscle through all the work pics and separate them from the sightseeing stuff.

My home town and my local store! \o/
Hope you enjoyed Cape Town!

Those dudes were awesome. Don't let the trawler pics put you off, I had a great day on Table Mountain and got awesome pics. The fish guys worked us really hard, but they had some really great people working there and everyone was great to us that we met. All in all, it was a wonderful experience, and I would do it again as long as I could skip the trawler part. Lol.

Probably spent a little too much time at Mitchell's drinking Old Wobblies. 11% that beer and goes down like a smooth cold lager. Saw a couple of bands at Freeman's and The Dubliner. Unfortunately, both bands, The Professors and Crimson, used laptop rhythm sections as opposed to bassists and drummers.

From what I gather, the pay scale was still a lot better there than around here.
