CWB: 24 Have Two-Four; Will Travel

This reminded me of our four primary CWB ladies and I wanted to share it with the whole family...I particularly liked the "sexy boots" our ladies are renown for wearing.

The heavy part of the storm swung right past up, we got under two inches of snow where I live. It is brutally cold here though. Our Belgian Shepherd stuck his head out of the doggy door this morning while I was making coffee. He gave me a look like, "are you kidding me?", then he went outside.

I bought a brand new snow blower at the end of last season, we still have not had enough snow to fire it up.

Everybody stay safe and try to keep warm!

(Great pic by the way crow.)

there is so much to like about this photo:

I'm not so easy on the eyes like you, and I'm now a P guy, but we seem to share a taste for the natural/black combo:

Thanks, Chuck! Yeah, we definitely have some similar tastes. :)

Awesome, Crow! I wonder where my CWB partners in crime have been these days...

As with many of you, it's the same here with snow and cold. -11 degrees when I woke up this morning. Yuck. Feeling jealous of the folks who live in warmer climates, and especially of those that are making the trip to NAMM. Bet it feels like summer out there. Enjoy the warmth!!! :)

We've been pretty fortunate weather wise this winter. The Rockies have done a great job of keeping the cold Arctic storms on their east side. Our winter has actually been milder than usual with a lot less snow than normal. So far this month we've had less than 1" total snow with none of it sticking around.

dude - feel better. I am sure that your vehicle not working right is adding to your stress level.

for what it's worth, blizzard conditions here in NYC tonight and there's about 12" of snow to deal with.

Thanks man. The car not working isn't stressful, as we have another vehicle and I have a couple motorcycles at my disposal for commuting. I make a living by working on cars, so it's no biggie for me.

I so do not miss that snow stuff!! If I want snow, I just have to drive about an hour or so and I can see all that I want, then leave!

The weather here has been very late spring-like. Mid 70's to low 80's during the day, and night time lows around 45..I tell ya, it's rough!! ;)

Ours is pretty "spring-like" here too, it's 46 today, but not raining. We had some winter weather and then it stopped. It's rained hard for a few days at a time, but then it stops and we'll either have dry days or some with sun. I don't think I've ever had to use my sunglasses to drive to work in January before. YK, this is Washington, i only have clip-over sun shades anyway :-)

Music-wise i still have no idea what's going on with my drummer and singer (they're married to each other) that's preventing us from getting to play so my lessons guy has given me a guitar book with the backing CD and I'm learning how to read along with the suggested chords over the lines of music.

I'm getting the rest of my frustrations out by attending the weekly local swing dances with my best friend and having fun giggling and getting sweaty at the same time. This Friday we're going to this [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

I'm a chick with a bass (and a LGBT one at that), and from the land of two-fours from the Beer Store. I'm just getting started, though. Hi!

I'm married to a chick with a guitar, and we live with a drum chick. Instant jam session; entirely too convenient. Also, hi.

Hey, JaamE :) Swing dance sounds like fun. I think you should get us a pic or two next time you go!

MB, Good luck with yr shows tomorrow (not that you'll need it, the way you play). Hope you are having a blast at NAMM! :bassist::hyper:

And of course, good luck to Basswave and DT on yr gigs tomorrow as well. :)

Thanks PA :)

We played all over NAMM today and had a blast. Friday we have LoUp at 7 and the Bass and Brews at 9:20.

It will be fun and ill be keeping all my CWB family in my thoughts as I play !

Welcome! Since you are in Toronto there is a TalkBass GTG being organized for the 15th of Feb. from noon to 4 at the studios on Cherry Street. Just a meet and greet basically. Most of the guys bring along some really cool gear to check out and play with. Very friendly bunch.
