If I ever find my way out to CA, you can count on it. Although, my sense of direction is pretty bad, so you might have to do it Lareamond's style, with maps and photos and such.

Get a Monster brand cable if they're available they have a lifetime replacement warranty if they crap out on ya!
I like George L's cables. Just avoid Guitar Center's house cables, they blow. Went through 3 in a year.
Well Monster is a bit beyond my price range at the moment. Between the amp and the new printer I had to buy for now I'm going to start out with something simple and upgrade when the visa balance isn't so high.

A day when their is supposed to be a local club meeting that no one has shown up to really could have been better served by me getting my cable and practising with the new amp.

sorry to interrupt as I have no bass content to offer and I thought maybe some spoon info from Albania but their spoons are pretty much like ours, so I can only offer these photos from today which were taken within an hour of each other because in Albania you can go from the mountains to the beach in one hour, which is not usual in the US (except maybe in Southern California, but still not as close as here in Albania):
OK, thanks for putting up with a wild and crazy guy. After two days I already have many friends in Albania! If I could bring my bass over here instead of having to do my actual work, I would have many girlfriends. Over here, they love the American rock and roll!

That is wild! I love the houses in the mountains. Beach is beautiful...all of it...just gorgeous. I can't look at that beach picture without imagining Jello digging in the sand. It's her favorite. She tries to dig through my wood floor when she gets really excited.
