Hi FM - here's the view from the plane flying into Tirana, Albania. It actually reminded me a lot of So. California - mountainous and arid, going down to the sea, only the sea was the Adriatic rather than the Pacific.
Tirana has a wall of mountains around it, much like parts of greater LA or greater Denver. Here's the view from my room:
Albania's an unusual place and I'll tell you more about that if time permits. I've got a ton of work to do on this teaching gig. Luckily for the upcoming weekend, through my band I've got an Albanian connection here and she is very kindly taking me under her wing for pub crawls and some local tours of the sights to be seen.

Okay girls and boys - I'm still trying to pack for Pittsburgh (I got home from work about an hour ago) and get a model running so my boss can stop panicking. I'll be at the airport tomorrow morning about 6 and headed for Pittsburgh, which will be home for the next five days.

Good for a practice amp, I'd get it. I had a Rumble 100w for my main amp for a long time and it never let me down. GET IT!!! BUBBA NEEDS A VOICE!
Seems fair for a practice amp Deej. It's not an expensive amp. Is that maybe they amp that they ship with the Squier "Player's Pack?"

Bahhhhhh...You're trying to suck the fun out of my trip! Pittsburgh must remember that I was here! I should like...go spraypaint my name on an overpass or something.
Or - better yet - crash the movie set of the Tom Cruise flick they're filming in secret somewhere down here. Rumor has it he's entrenched in my hotel, but I'm not planning to go look him up. I have bigger fish to fry. And I don't want him jumping on my couch or anything.
