D_Bag Guitard needs bass tracks

Fellow bass geeks,
A guitard tried to break my band (Link Removed) up and start crap with everyone in it. He is now no longer accepted amongst the band. The dude emailed me today about coming in and laying down some tracks for the next "mirage" album. I don't wanna start anything with the band, but I have rent to pay and a new GBE head coming and he has money. Should I take the recording gig or not?

Do you think he is trying to break up the band? Why can't the two of you just do a side project? You guys are to good and to young to have petty crap like this bust up the band. I don't really even care for your style of music, but good is good.

Pennies make dollars. Dollars= groceries, rent/mortgage, new gear, and goodies. If the guy is paying and gonna be a "pro" about it, I'd say sure thing. If its gonna cause drama with Your bandmates, You could have a sit down with them and explain Your financial situation, and how the "side money" gig could be of help.
