I also tried your study last night and it is certainly something I’ll have to chip away at. I’m trying to wean myself off of tabs so I kinda have to go through it note by note until I get better at reading. I was using the tab for my first run-through of the first few measures just to follow your fingering recommendations, but for subsequent playthroughs, I’ll read it.
Funny you should say that. I've only started adding TAB for things I put up on TB, and I don't use it much myself. That said, it is useful when specifying particular fingerings, such as those diminished arpeggii.
Anyway, I like that you've found that thing useful.
I see from the fretless club that you have a 5-string portamento (nice!), so your challenge is to extend the exercise from B at 26 on the A string to the low open B and back, via the high C at 29(!) on G... Beware the ear-worm!
