I sold my MBD1 a year and a half ago, and haven't been playing much bass over the last 10 months since my bands last gig in March. I've been getting the bug again, so I snagged an MBD2. Man, I didn't realize how much I missed this thing.

So Rat tail into the MBD1 is absolutely amazing. No other processing other than my tube preamp and the raw power of my SVT. Wow what a tone....
Please post a follow up pic when you get them both dialed in.Here they are. (Ignore knob positions, I haven’t even begun to dial anything in yet)

Funnily enough the Mbd1 settings is almost how I have mine dialed in... except gain at 1 and depth at 3... gets me a nice thick yet articulate grind...Here they are. (Ignore knob positions, I haven’t even begun to dial anything in yet)

Here’s where I’ve landed so far. I found that the 20db switch gives me a bit more noise than I care for, but cranking up the gain a fair amount gets me into pretty heavy distortion (for me anyway). The MBD1 is set more at a mild overdrive.Please post a follow up pic when you get them both dialed in.
@father of fires
Whats the input and output impedance on the MBD-2? I’ve tried finding that info written somewhere, but can’t seem to locate it. Thanks!!!
Awesome, thanks so much!Input is >1M and output is 1k.
Working on it.Need demo videos!
